Mission of the Pharmacy Program

The mission of Pharmacy programme in Oman Medical College is to train pharmacists to enable them to serve society as a professional responsible for appropriate use of medications and devices by the patients, to provide public education services, to monitor and manage activities related to medication regimen, to provide services in Pharmaceutical companies in field of quality as well as regulatory control, formulation development, and management of sales.

Goals & objectives of the Medical and Pharmacy Programs

To prepare all students for the study and practice of medicine in English.

To provide students with the basic science and clinical knowledge required for the study and practice of medicine.

To improve student's use of information technology and computer applications.

To help students become self-directed learners.

To foster student’s curiosity and inquisitiveness.
